Guy Baeten has a D.Phil from the University of Oxford (2002) and is currently Professor of Human Geography at Lund University, Sweden. He has previously worked at the universities of Oxford, Leuven (Belgium) and Strathclyde (Scotland). Guy Baeten is interested in urban development projects, urban sustainability, political ecology of leisure and mobility theory, and has wisely published in leading geography and planning journals. He has recently published a book with Tuna Tasan-Kok on "The Contradictions of Neoliberal Planning" (Springer, 2012). He is book review editor of European Planning Studies.
