Efthimios Karymbalis is an Assistant Professor in Fluvial and Coastal Geomorphology. He holds a BSc. in Geology (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, 1992) and a PhD in Geomorphology (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, 1996). Prof. Efthimios research interests are in: fluvial geomorphology; coastal geomorphology; palaeogeographic evolution of coastal areas – sea-level fluctuations; morphotectonics; morphometry; natural hazards (floods, sea-level rise, shoreline erosion) and geomorphological mapping.
