New paper publication on the limits to “counter-neoliberal” reform in Bolivia

Diego Andreucci (ICTA, UAB) and Isabella M. Radhuber’s paper Limits to “counter-neoliberal” reform: Mining expansion and the marginalisation of post-extractivist forces in Evo Morales’s Bolivia, is currently in press with the journal Geoforum. This research analyses recent changes in the governance of Bolivian mining and in particular, the limitations of the counter-neoliberalisation of mineral governance and how such limitations reflect certain shifts in state–society relations that demobilize opposition to extractivism in the country.
